Check your sources. Biden said that "If Russia invades [Ukraine], then there will no longer be Nord Stream 2 [project]", not that the the US would blow up the pipeline. Now, who benefits from the crime? Putin, obviously.

No, Biden did not say he would blow it up - he's not a complete idiot - but he did say that we will "bring an end" to the project while being very coy about how he would do so. And I honestly don't see how Putin benefits from it, since any peace settlement could have reopened the project.
