Story: In the late 21st century, the Solar System is being struck by mysterious power surges, threatening all human life. (Watched this movie with feverish anticipation on a transatlantic red-eye and was immensely disappointed/frustrated by the piteous end result —  a ruined orgasm, save for the opening space-tower scene and the Moon chase featured below, with ad hoc TNC-added soundtracks.)
