SOL 39 | Alain Delon (1935 - 2024)

PLEIN SOLEIL - Official UK Trailer

Starring Alain Delon as a man of dangerous magnetism in one of his first prominent roles, René Clément’s Plein Soleil (1960) is a psychological thriller set amidst the alluring small-town landscape of the Italian coast. A dark tale of betrayed friendships and stolen identities, it is a classic of French and world cinema. The film is based on the novel "Mr. Ripley" by Patricia Highsmith.

Plein Soleil has been restored and re-released following its Cannes Classics premiere in August 2013.
