DAY 393 | Concorde

The Concorde was a supersonic jet that was jointly developed by British and French engineers in the 1960s.

It made its first commercial flight on January 21, 1976, and continued flying for over 27 years, until its final flight on October 24, 2003.

The Concorde was capable of flying at twice the speed of sound, or around 1,350 mph (2,170 km/h). It could cross the Atlantic Ocean in just over three hours.

Only 20 Concordes were ever built, with six in use by British Airways and seven by Air France.
